SIL's

Sister In-laws are a lot of fun! Growing up an only child this is as close to a sibling that I will ever come and... the good news is that I love her! She allows me to be creative and directive and totally indulges me by carrying her entire wardrobe over 1,000 miles to come to see me for her maternity session. Or really I should have said sessions, since we shot in multiple locations over the course of 3 or 4 days. Here are just a few of the favorites...

Baby R

I have posted about this little one before but since I am revisiting this year I figured I would give her some extra air time.

Baby girl R- to date maybe one of the sweetest newborns I have worked with, so easy going and laid back as her parents were. I loved working with her parents for their maternity session and even more fun with such a girlie girl. All pearls and ruffles...check it out.

way back when...

Ok, so here goes...I am diving back into the world of blogging and trying to catch everyone up on what I have been doing this year.

This was possibly the coldest session ever! It was well below freezing (at least for me 22 degrees is certainly that) in the high desert of New Mexico. This family was awesome and not only are the beautiful on the outside, but the inside too. And as an added bonus to me this family did an amazing job coordinating their outfits, nothing to matchy matchy (yes that is a technical term) and pops of color here and there!

We shot this session just after new Years and since they hadn't sent out christmas cards they asked if I could createI create New Years cards for them to send out and share with their friends and family.

I'm back!

Wow, ok so I admit I have seriously neglected this blog for way to long! Sorry to anyone who has been following or checking in for new pictures. Early this spring I had big run of babies, wrapped up my portfolio and just recently set up a new website...that sadly I'm not completely in love with. I just have to remember to keep things simple and in touch with my own style.

I am planning on returning to blog and post sessions that have long gone by! Luckily it's only about 4 months or so that I need to catch up on. Be on the look out maybe your session will be up next ;)
